Though fluid is made of discrete molecules, fluid flow problem is analyzed treating it as a continuous media. Voids and cavities in fluid are ignored. The fluid is considered continuous and homogeneous media and hence the physical properties of the fluids are continuous from point to point and are expressed by continuous algebraic function of space and time co-ordinates. The fluid properties are treated to be same at a point and identical in all direction.
Let us consider a flowing liquid in a system. If the pressure at any point becomes equal or less than vapour pressure the vaporization of the liquid starts. These vapour bubbles are carried by the following liquid into the region of high pressure where they collapse causing high impact pressure. This high pressure cause eroding of the adjoining boundaries and forms cavities on them. This phenomenon is known as cavitations.
About seventy percent of the populations of Nepal are living in the rural areas. Therefore developments in urban centers alone do not indicates the overall development of the country. Only with the improvement in transportation facilities in rural areas, there could be faster development of these areas, resulting in overall development of the country. The fertilizers and other inputs for agriculture and tourism and cottage industries could reach the rural population easily and the products of the villages can be sold at the nearest market centers for more remunerative prices, resulting in faster economic growth and decreased wastage. By providing improved facilities for education health care and other social needs. The impacts of rural road connectivity , from the recent rural road development programs in the country are as follows:
